At the beginning of the appraisal cycle, performing the needs analysis self-review gives your appraiser and organisations performance manager an idea of your strengths and areas for development based on your current practice.
Your organisation may wish for this process to be repeated each year, to ensure your responses are updated, to match your current practice and identify where you have made progress on any previously outlined development needs.
Updating your responses
- Select Standards from the left-hand navigation menu
- Select the standard or framework you've completed previously and wish to update
- Select View at the end of the statement set or click on the set key icons i.e. 1.1, 1.2 below
- Now simply select a new response to update your responses. For example, if your current response is B, select C
- If your response hasn't changed, simply deselect the current response and then re-select it. This will register that you have updated your response
- Once you have completed the statements in this set, you can review your progress by selecting the Analysis tab. Here you will be able to see your previous and current response. If you have re-reviewed several times over the years you can select a different date
- Once you're done you can upload new evidence or create a new overview comment. Simply select Overview of your responses beneath the level title and see an aggregated view of your level's responses
- Scroll down to see any highlighted strengths and complete an overview comment should you wish
