Every CPD activity in your portfolio can be evaluated. Please refer to your CPD lead if you are not sure if particular events and activities require evaluation.
If you don't need to evaluate the activity you can just mark it as Completed/Attended.
Remember, if you or the organisation turned off or didn't set evaluation reminders you won't receive any reminders once the activity has been completed/attended.
Marking your record as Completed/Attended
- Select CPD from the left-hand navigation menu
- Click on the title of the CPD you have completed/attended
- From the Actions panel on the right-hand side, select Mark as Completed/Attended
- Here it will show the title of the record, the date the activity took place and present a date selection for when it was completed/attended. If you are marking this at a later date you can simply select Use activity date
- Select Save
Evaluating your record
- Following the steps above or if you have remained on the page you can now select Evaluate from the right-hand Actions panel
- Evaluation is divided into two sections;
- Immediate Impact
- Long Term Impact
- Complete each part of the Immediate Impact section finishing on Next Step
- You can add evidence at any point by selecting Manage evidence in the top right-hand corner. This opens a new tab allowing you to add evidence to the record without disrupting your evaluation
- At this point, you will likely not be able to complete the long term impact or it might not be applicable. Once you are happy with your immediate impact, scroll down to the bottom and select Save
- Now it will register that you have completed 50% of the evaluation. Evaluation remains open and editable forever allowing you to revisit and update any impact the activity had on your practice and development
- When and if applicable, you would repeat the above steps and revisit to complete the long term impact. Once complete it would mark the evaluation as 100%
