Daniel Brown, Director of Professional Learning and Development at Dulwich College Singapore, shares his approach to managing and evaluating professional development for all school staff.
Dulwich College Singapore is part of the prestigious Dulwich College International Group, affiliated with Dulwich College in London. As a large International, with nearly 3000 students aged 2 to 18 years, and over 400 teaching and business support staff, the school needed a flexible and scalable approach to manage professional development, utilising online technology to support the process.
In this interview we explore how the school has adapted their approach, placing professional development at the centre of performance review conversations. Daniel outlines how the process is helping his team to identify training needs and offer differentiated professional learning for all staff, and how this is contributing to improving quality of education throughout the school.
This session will be interesting for leaders of schools, trusts or groups, Directors of Improvement, Directors of Professional Learning and Development, CPD leads and any staff involved in school People Strategy.
