Requesting Feedback
Once you have completed a review against a standards level, you can submit a 360 request for your colleagues to complete, based on their opinion of the same criteria.
You will only be able to see the responses once a Coach has signed them off and released them to you. You can categorise your colleagues into Managers, Peers or Staff or have any combination of these. For example, as an ECT you may only select a group of Peers but if you are at leadership level you may choose a number of Managers, Peers and Staff members to give you full 360 feedback.
Request your 360 Review
- Select Reviews from the left-hand navigation menu
- Choose your standard or framework
- On the right-hand side select the 360 Review button. If you haven't started the review yet, visit Performing a self-review against professional standards and frameworks to get started
- Select Create 360 Review Requests from the top left corner of the page
- Now you can select your colleagues from the list under each category. If you are connected to multiple organisations, this will contain colleagues from all organisations you are attached to
Each category contains the same list of colleagues, you do not need to use all 3 categories.
View your feedback
Once the coach has signed off the review, head back into the standard or framework you made the request on and back into 360 Review. You'll see the date it was signed off and if it hasn't been signed off yet, the signed off column will be empty.
- Select the standard or framework to view the responses
- Here you can see who responded. Select View aggregated responses
- Now you can see your responses against your peers and drill into each dimension and statement set to identify any differences
You can export it as a PDF should you wish to use it as evidence elsewhere.
Providing Feedback
It is often helpful for a member of staff looking to develop their skills to review themselves against a set of relevant standards. The process can be further enhanced by gaining a perception of how others see them in those same areas of work using a 360 review.
Once you have received a request from a colleague and completed the review, the results will go directly to a nominated Coach who will review them and sign them off before they are made visible to the reviewee.
Completing a 360 Review Request
- Select Reviews from the left-hand navigation menu
- On the right-hand panel, you'll see the 360 Review Requests, along with a number if you've had multiple requests
- Select View all
- Here you can view past responses if the review has been signed off and select Update responses to complete your feedback
- Then simply work your way through the review level, as you would do your own but with your colleague in mind
- Once you're done, simply press Overview of your responses and review your answers. Should you need to update any, press Update your responses
You can update your responses until the review has been signed off by the coach.
