How to approve an objective* set for you by your line manager (manager-led objectives)
Approval of objectives varies depending on who created the objectives. Visit Objective permissions and rights to learn more.
If the objective was created by a line Manager, you provide approval:
- Head to Home in your top navigation
- Select Objectives from your left hand navigation
- By default, it will show you any objectives across the current academic year. The approval status filter enables you to see only those pending approval
- Select the relevant objective
- Review the objective and when ready, select Approve in the right-hand actions panel
- Approval will notify your manager
- Approval may be required more than once, if your manager edits the objective
* Whilst referred to as Objectives in this guide, your organisation may use alternative terminology such as goal, targets or inquiry questions.
