Why am I being directed to the National College when I try to log in?

Unified login across People Development and The National College

All users will now have one account and one login to access all their subscriptions across the People Development and The National College platforms. 

 

What has changed?

Previously you had two separate logins - one for The National College and one for People Development. Now you only need to log in once using a single set of login details. Your accounts across People Development and The National College will be linked by your email address. 

Who is affected? 

All users who have both a People Development and a National College subscription. 

How do I log in? 

I have a PD and a TNC account: 
  • Use the login details that you currently use to access TNC 

I have a PD account but no TNC account: 

  • A new TNC account will be created automatically. You will log into this using the details you currently use to log into PD. 

When you log in to PD: 

You'll now be redirected to The National College login page. You'll see a banner explaining the changes. After logging in, you'll see the usual PD Dashboard. From here you can then access all of your subscriptions. 

When you log in to TNC: 

You’ll land on your Task List page and can navigate to your subscriptions or free CPD content from there. 

What if I’ve forgotten by password? 

You can reset your password. This process will be done within The National College platform. Follow this guidance here to reset your password Reset my password.
