Managers: How to set manager-led objectives

In this guide we will cover how to:

  • set objectives* for those you line manage
  • align objectives to the priorities of your organisation
  • edit a manager-led objective 

 

  1. Head into your Manage tab and select Objectives from the left-hand navigation menu. 
  2. Select Create objective in the top right-hand corner
  3. Select the individual from the dropdown you wish to create the objective for. If you only line manage one person this will be preselected
  4. Just like you're own objective, fill out the content of the objective form
  5. Select the Set and Met date
  6. Remember, you will be the only one who can edit this as the individual won't have editing rights
  7. When you're ready press Next step
  8. Choose any related organisation objectives, if available and link to elements of their professional standards review if applicable
  9. Press Save

* Whilst referred to as Objectives in this guide, your organisation may use alternative terminology such as goal, targets or inquiry questions.
